Each Alexia Woven Bowl is carefully crafted by skilled weavers using dyed natural sisal fibers and forest grasses as a core. The intricate design is achieved by starting in the center and meticulously weaving the sisal fibers in an overlapping pattern. The color is achieved by steeping the sisal fibers in Rwandan-grown tea leaves. Each bowl includes a hanging loop on the back and comes with a tag featuring information about the artisan group responsible for its creation.

About the Brand

Based in the US, Azizi Life connects Rwandan artisans with resources to develop their art, business, faith, and families, and to introduce these artisan partners and their work to the global market. Our Rwandan artisan partners have a vision: to use their art and the income it brings for the benefit of their families and communities. It is our privilege to work alongside these women and men, purchasing their art at a fair price, connecting them with resources for growth, and promoting them and their craft worldwide.
